For REEL and the RATP metro maintenance facilities, ILC supplied an integrated traction system designed to move metro cars safely and precisely during maintenance operations. The solution combined electrical capstans with synchronized control and mechanical redirection devices to ensure smooth, controlled vehicle handling within constrained workshop environments.
Scope of Supply
- Three electric traction capstans, 4,000 daN, equipped with centralized control and synchronization
- Three mechanical 120° redirection capstans for guided cable routing
