1 Umbilical lifting winch

EXAIL, a designer and manufacturer of submarines and maritime drones, commissioned Industrie Levage Consulting to define and build a custom umbilical winch for an ongoing project. The scope of supply involved the delivery of a 30 kW electric umbilical winch featuring:

-2,800 daN pulling force

-variable speed (0 to 80 m/min)

-constant tension (load sensor)

-PLC control

-remote by Ethernet

-automatic spooling with a 50-degree angular escape –

slip ring

-marine protection
