Context & challenge
SOGESTRAN required a complete solution to position river barges, with centralized control. The challenge was managing four winches that needed to operate individually or synchronously.
Solution & execution
ILC supplied four electric winches featuring manual drum disengagement, dedicated local control cabinets, and a centralized radio-control system (1 transmitter / 4 receivers). Bench testing validated load capacity, responsiveness and coordinated control.
